Yes, exceptional. I suspect that it is more to do with politics, personality clashes.

Very good book as it condenses down a lot of other peoples books/info

To be honest ,I haven't read any better books on hypnosis than Hypnotic Influence in fifteen years of reading about it.

Sorry I meant that it seems to be ignored or not talked about in regards to politics etc.

There is no such a thing as a complete book about hypnosis in my opinion. However. A book I would recommend is Hypnotherapy by Dave Elman.

Elman's book is a good one, and very interesting, but it's so limited in scope. He tells you everything you need to know to practice in the medical field, and of course you can adapt that to other purposes, but there's a lot you won't learn from him about non-medical hypnosis. Definitely worth reading though.

I've eased headaches and seasickness with hypnosis, and also worked on more therapeutic stuff, but most of what I've done has been recreational. It doesn't serve any important purpose, so there aren't really many books devoted to it (Mind Games: The Guide to Inner Space is a good one), but it's a good way to learn.

For hypnotherapy, Elman's book still makes a great introduction, as it teaches you a good induction and shows what hypnosis is capable of, but I think Hypnotic Influence will give you much more technique.

Thanks . I bought Mind Games: The Guide to Inner Space :)
May I ask you introduce more interesting and useful books?
