Is the mushroom in my gut or in my head?

Hello, I have some eating disorder but only with certain type of food.
I'm 190cm and 180lbs and today for example I've eaten 4 x 125g cheese, 200g pasta, 2 bananas, 200g steak, 200g bread. Yesterday I ate 250g pure beer yeast and the day before one coconut but only because I just had one in stock.
I crave for acid food, orange, lemon (unripened ones), mushrooms, beer yeast, cheese (spicy ones), and coconuts.

I told my doctor but he won't hear anything, he just shrugged off. So I wonder wether it is psychological or physiological.
Doesn't seem related to sugar content neither protein. Doesn't seem to be salt or saturated fat. Might be calcium...

I have lost my job and I am quite nervous these days. I am not hungry though I tend to overeat because I have nothing else to do. I feel in a dead end. I can't read, can't watch a movie, There's a lot of job everywhere but I can't choose any.

So I eat pasta, rice but I don't like it, it is not food. I eat 250g and I just feel like I've drunk too much water. I used to like red meat a lot but it doesn't do anything. And there's a lot of thing I don't regard as food anymore.
So I eat with great unsatisfaction.
Untill... I eat one bit of mushroom or coconut and feel a great satisfaction and then I start a cooking pot with 500g of mushroom in it. Though I wasn't hungry at the beginning. The more I eat of these food the more I feel like I'm going to die if I don't eat more! So I avoid to purchase them because I know I can't stop but I'm puzzled sometimes because
I think there might be a reason for my stomach to call for such strange food.
Thank you for sharing your opinion on that subject.

Doesn't sound like you overeat. Your doctor probably is not concerned, because you are a healthy weight for your height.

You have bigger issues than if your tastebuds like pasta or mushrooms. You are most likely focusing in on the taste issue as a way to avoid the actual issue of being intentionally unemployed.
