We all strive for a successful life, but I think a lot of people get lost in where to start.
Is this a fair assumption?
I've studied many, many, many successful people and it's their mindset that really sets them apart from the masses. That's a given, but how did they create that mindset to serve as a guiding star toward their dreams?
I believe it all has to do with making a paradigm shift from what they once knew to be their mediocre reality, to what they dreamed their life would become. Now, for those who don't know, a paradigm can be defined as "a typical example or pattern of something; a pattern or model". So what this means is whatever pattern of results and existence that you are use to, is what you generally accept as your “reality”, or being possible.
Most people don’t ever try to move away from what they know, even if it doesn’t represent the life they truly desire. This sits in direct contrast to how successful people think. They work to shift their paradigm from what they know, to what they envision and imagine their life could be. As Les Brown says, “if nothing around you represents the success you want in your life, you need to be able to operate from your mindsight rather than your eyesight”
So the question therein lies, how do you create this paradigm shift? Well I'm going to tell you how I was able to create the successful mindset needed before I could get to the next level. It’s simple and you can start applying the same techniques right now if you really want.
You have to start filling your Subconsious mind with higher level ideals and thought patterns. To do this is actually very, very simple. What I did, was download audio file after audio file from personal development experts like; Bob Proctor, Les Brown, Eric Thomas, Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, and more....
I became obsessed with listening to what each of these experts had to offer. With every word I truly felt like a river of positive energy was shaping my mind. Low and behold, after about 30 days of constant listening, I no longer even saw the negative aspects of my life, but felt true gratitude for the great things in my life. Not only that, but my standards for my life raised, and the belief I had inside that I could actually reach that new level of success was sky high.
So, if you are like I was, searching and frustrated not knowing where to start, start where I eventually did. Listen to as many of these industry experts as possible, and really take to heart what they say. Even create your own audio which describes exactly what you want your life to look like and play it over and over. The key is repetition and consistency!
I would love to know where all of you are at in your journey? What have you found made the biggest impact on pulling you toward your success?
