Need Advice

I have a long history of being abused in every way since I was 4. I'm currently 31. Before I moved 6 months ago, I had a wonderful psychiatrist and psychologist who helped me more than anyone, and gave me enough refills of my medications to sustain me in my new home for 5 months. Now I have a problem. I made that medication last a month longer, and I'm dangerously close to being out. I have no car at the moment, I left it behind, and no doctors down here to help. My panic disorder and PTSD was doing better since I moved out of the state that held so many triggers for me, but as soon as I noticed how low I was on my meds, panic set in, and now I'm having a hard time breathing, focusing, eating, really just living. I hate relying on meds to make me feel better, especially since going to a doctor right now is a lot easier said than done in many ways at this point. So, long story short, is there anyone who has tried anything that has helped them, that is legal, and close enough to xanax that I can safely try? Any advice and help would be so very appreciated. Thank you
