Could you not reschedule until a time when someone can go with you? Or give the bank a call and discuss your situation over the phone.

Remember nothing will actually happen to you, you will only experience feelings that make you think something is going to happen.

just to say wen i start panicking wen i go in to town on something on the bus i usally try to tell myself wat im doin at that excat moment, im just sitting on a bus i cant do anymore or any less and then when i start to get nervous wen i get off the bus i just think im just walkin down a street instead of having my mind in the future thinking what can happen i try to just simply think of what im actually doing and the simplicty of it, then if you feel like showing emotion in the bank that makes sense im mean it might be embarresing but u have reason?

the thing is wen ur highly stressed you go from stress to panic instead of a neutral state to stress so u need to begin to reset your body down to neutral. an activity u can do late in the evening before you go to bed that calms you, yoga is always a good one theres enough beginner exercises you can do that u can find on the net to get u started u need to find something that gives your thinkin a break even if its a few minutes a day!

Natasha,

Visit my site www.becomeyourself.org for some suggestions on how to start overcoming panic.

As for the bank, forget them and your money, there are many more important things in life especally how you feel. I am sure if you explain to someone over the phone about your current situation something can be done. You could even email them, sometimes its easier typing things out than saying them under pressure.

It is in the banks favour to help you as they dont want to lose your debt or you custom. At the end of the day visiting a bank is not worth getting yourself worked up over.

Hi,

Well i made it just, although I nearly did run out cos the panic got to me. But the women I seen was very understanding and got me some water and calmed me down. As for the problem with that im still worried as they cant do anything I know have to go to Citizens Advice on wednesday and get them to help me. Im going to try and get someone to go with me. If I sorted money It would be one less thing to worry about

Thanks for all the replys

I'm sure you'll survive wednesday as well. It's good to see you having experiences that show there's no need to panick attacks. :)
