There's no such place. Both heaven and hell are in our minds.

Some children, like those in the story, have no choice -- because their so-called caregivers killed them.

All those who live to adulthood have choices.

So back to the saying, that God helps those who help themselves. We all have the power to help ourselves.

You surely know by now where complaint has got you: more of the same... and guaranteed to get worse unless and until you change your mind.

If you make the decision to help yourself, why would you need God? God is for people waiting for help to come from the outside.

Everybody needs god. You say a core belief that there is heaven for good people is not true. This is indeed confusing. I want to help myself sincerely just can't change my obsessed worrying thinking. There are tons of drugs to cure that ( none of them works for me) so it's not an easy thing as people need drugs. This looks like an other justification to my ill thinking I just can't stop worries and ease my anxiety it seem to me that's beyond my capability
