Building Motivation?

Postby pty1196 » Tue Aug 12, 2014 9:33 am

How do I build motivation to work better at my workplace?
I feel bored working at my workplace and my working performance is not good.
Thank you.

It's financial analysis work.

The key to boundless enthusiasm for work, getting up excited every day, is to find your true purpose, your passion, your calling. It would seem that FA is not it, what's next on the list to try? Life is not a rehearsal, this is it!

Motivation is in large part driven by properly structuring your environment, including goals. What goals do you currently have at work?

For instance, saying a goal is to improve your working performance is a poorly structured goal. In financial analysis, what specific tasks do you do that you could improve upon? Could you get faster at analyzing a report, focus on making less errors, what specifically could you improve?
