Through my withdrawal, and cognitive therapy, I have found affirmations to be the most effective. For example, my therapist and I came up with one the other day that I keep saying to myself, and writing down when I feel anxious:
I give myself permission to be 100% healthy
I know it may sound funny but after 8 years on antidepressants, you get really used to being sick so to speak. I am trying to change that mentally. What are some of your most effective ones? Another one is 'i am calm and relaxed and choose to think only positive thoughts'.
