TELL ME THE TRUTH SHOULD I BE OK STARTING THIS LOW ?

Postby Tony O » Fri Jul 23, 2004 12:44 pm

As I said I worked down from 200mg of Serzone to 180 over a month. My New pland for Doc is 190 to 195 for 4 weeks then move on, Now is that slow and low enough that I should kick this comfortably over next year or so ?

Be Honest, please don't give me false hopes

Sincerely - Tony

Tony,

Did you go back up to 200mg after being at 180mg? From your post it looks like your going back up instead of down? Did you read my post to you? My story is in there, I am withdrawing right now and am going down by 25mg every 3-4 weeks. It really depends on how you feel and of course how many side effects you are experiencing. Whether or not you can function or not, especially in your job. No one can really say what kind of side effects, if any, you may experience, if you have read any of the posts people have had manageable side effects to really unmangeable side effects. I know you are really anxious about what the future will bring in terms of your side effects, but try not to put the cart before the horse. Don't work yourself into a frenzy over what may happen or not happen. I am just taking it one day at a time and not being hard on myself about it. Be good to yourself and don't pound your mind to death with thoughts of failure or what if's!!! It won't do you any good. You need to experiment with your dosage and tapering and see what is best for you. It's all by feel. If your going down to fast you will know. If your dosage is too high, reduce it! From what I have read they suggest 5% to 10% of your dosage to reduce by. But that doesn't necessarily mean that would be right for you or me. You need to try first and then decide. But whatever you do, do it slow. I hope this helps.

vitamin supplementation - including l-glutamine, should help your body adjust. Do a search on l-glutamine and addication.
