Would anyone relate with me

Hey guys so I just want to ask if anyone had self-medicated their anxiety disorder with MJ for a while with low and moderate doses but then binged on being high particularly all day- everyday for a period.
Is it normal that after almost 4 months of withdrawal, I still experiencing severe depression, anxiety, occasional insomnia, slowness in movements and processing information, low reading comprehension, cognitive impairments, dp/dr, speech problems like forgetting words, stutter, unable to join in conversation, loss of humor, overall worse performance in academic since I can't make logical reasoning, writing and feel like a retard.
Im 20 M with a history of drinking antidepressants for anxiety disorder then abruptly stopped it and switch to MJ since 19. I've started doing light cardio and weight lifting for the past few months while adding supplements such as fish oil, ginkgo biloba, 3B Vitamin moreover melatonin and mimosa tablets for easier sleeping. I do see some improvements but still wondering if it a concurrent psychiatric illness or it just PAWS but more serious due to past mental illness.

It’s normal and PAWS but the only way you’ll really know is to see in 2-3 years. I’m in the same boat. It sucks but what can you do.

Thanks for sharing, it does help knowing I'm not alone in this :( I feel that I kinda stuck in a rut with a cycle of suicidal and obsessing thoughts since feeling incapable of function normally.

This is absolutely 100% normal. You are not even close to being alone. It’s the hardest thing you will ever go through. This forum is a great support so keep reading posts as well as Reddit r/leaves and r/weedpaws and the biggest resource is a forum on the cannabisrehab website. Keep googling and searching and you will find that we are going through very much the same things as people quitting years of SSRI/anti depressants. Our brains are screwed up and it takes over a year sometimes to feel a change but it gets better and worse then better. Also consider a Dopamine Detox and dry fasting to help speed up the process. Many symptoms we are experiencing are due to our dopamine being ultra low. It takes a long time but you will feel better in time.

Thanks man I appreciate your reply. Its also maybe the cessation of antidepressants that I felt so low right now.

Youre in the early stages. Some people go to hospital thinking their bodies and minds are crumbling from some serious disorder. IT can get quite intense. Im certainly struggling with it and Im around 5 months. Symptoms worse then yours by the sounds. Just breath. Your on the road to recovery. If you are really worried go to the Dr but be ready to find everything checks out ok.

You are accurate on this. Despite reading all other posts I still obsessed about some serious illnesses so I did a general examination, brain CT scan and stuffs, all checked out normal :( the only illnesses I was diagnosed with are anxiety disorder and depression mix from a psychiatrist. Dealing with antidepressants before I absolutely want no part on that anymore so I quit it after 3 weeks. That might have worsen PAWS symptoms. Thanks for your confirmation also Blinkers and I hope you all the best on this hellish journey.
