I understand what you are going through, life can be incredibly repetitive, and unless someone has been where you are, they are not going to see what you men. I have been there, I have had no money, living in a basement, no chance to get out of debt, no roommates allowed, couldn't even have a pet.

It wasn't until I realized that change was my only option, that I did something about it.

See the thing that is affecting you the most is not being broke. Its the fact that you are doing the same thing day in and day out. You could cancel your gym membership, cancel your phone, even get a raise at your job, and I promise you, absolutely nothing will change. What you need to do is a little more dramatic, you need a new job. Even if it means taking a little less money a week. You need to have a goal. You need to have a hobby. It is clear that your life is dull, try something that is new. Even if you are scared to do it. Try making a youtube video, its free and you can share your story with others to help them through this kind of situation. Become a mentor for someone, write a book. Is there nothing you want to do. Don't be afraid to take that risk. Don't be afraid to leap. If you are willing to push life, life will let you through.
Start a blog, you can go to library to use the internet. Boom, free hobby. Get excited, I am over here, getting excited for you, because I think everyone has the potential to do great things. You have that potential, I don't even know you, but I do believe in you.

I would say, especially if you're scared to do it. Fear is a terrific antidote to boredom.

The world has nothing to offer me that I would consider a goal. I have already written a book.

I'm at work. Doing the best I can. A lot of projects on.

Life is getting better each day. I feel good.

I don't have any money to do anything exciting with my life. Nearly finished work.

I have to go to my other job after work. Then the weekend where I will be writing gibberish for hours on end and listening to the same song over and over. Going for a walk. Making coffee.

Life is great. I'm happy.

Like paying findoms and poker Jason? That’s an exciting life?

That is how you spent money in the past. What would change if you had more money? The evidence from all of the years you have spent in here is that nothing would change. Money would do jack nothing in your life. But, it is a convenient excuse for you.

Life is good. I’m leaving China in two days. It has been a nice few months here.

I'm wondering what exciting things I could do in my spare time that doesn't cost any money. I suppose that is a better way of asking the same question.

I was at a coffee shop and wrote another 12 pages for my book which is going really well. I've nearly finished "never split the difference" by Chris voss a FBI negotiator. I also walked around a park for about 45 minutes by myself and noticed a bird in a tree.

Just thinking I owe money for my car insurance, I've ran out of oil for the house.

I'm doing the best I can with what I got right now. Life is getting better for me. I m happy, I feel good.

- Scavenge for coupons, go on a coupon hunt.
- Volunteer at a food bank or animal shelter.
- Start a free website.
- Offer to be an editor or ghost writer on Fivver (since you would like more money)
- Offer to help a friend or family member with a project.
- Participate on Quora, asking questions in their partner program to make money.
- Take surveys on mechanical turk for some spare change.
- Find a nice cold river to take a swim. That will get the blood flowing.
- Start training for a marathon or other physical event.
- Start learning a new language.
- Do some geocaching.
- Go to a community center and check out the calendar of "free events" to attend.
- Go to a book reading.
- Teach yourself how to juggle.
- Go out and meet somebody new. Have a conversation.
- Create a list of 101 goals or bucket list.
- Clean your home or car.
- Go take some photos
- Visit a museum
- Meditate
- Rearrange your furniture.
- Call someone that you have not spoken with for a few years.
- Have a yard sale.
- Take a free online course.
- Go watch a street artist perform
- Stargaze, learn to navigate

Maybe you see none of the above as in the least exciting or of any interest, but maybe someone else in a similar situation might find value in the post.

Today has been good. I reached out to a colleague and offered to co-author a paper on educational equity. That cost me nothing and is a free activity that will be pretty exciting if she says yes. If not, oh well.

Those are terrible ideas. I said exciting. Doesn't matter lol.

I'm away for another walk. Maybe something might turn up on my travels.

I would never expect a different answer from you Jason. No one has presented you a sufficiently exciting idea based on your opinion in...well, ever in this forum. Anyway, you are correct that at least for you personally, it doesn't matter.

Happy holidays mi amigo.

I see Richard hasn't changed much still trolling. He probably copied and pasted that list from a Google search. What a troll. He will never change.

I can honestly say I've changed but Richard still trolling. Will he admit he copied and pasted that from another website? Or just keep trolling me.

Perhaps you'll be visited by the ghosts of past, present and future. That will be exciting, no?
