Dear Everybody,
I am so sorry to post this Infrastructure Problem here on the actual page, but trying to PM anybody about it doesn't work because everything just sits in my Outbox.
Maybe somebody knows of a Button somewhere that I do not know to push. It wouldn't be the first time that this Technical Stuff would be more complicated than I ever imagined. I think the IT guys and the Programmers 'salt' all their work with overcomplexities and inherent problems.... all for Job Security. It is either that, or the people who are hired into that particular Field really aren't as capable as they should be, and then, well, we just have to live with that.... a Kind of Virtual Universe where we can be sure there is no God, and where we can't fully depend on anybody knowing what they are doing.
But, despite my cynicism, maybe somebody here knows how I should go about effectively sending a PM.

. . . Which means that your recipients are not picking up their messages. Maybe they aren't familiar with the PM system so much. I don't know. I suppose you could delete some older messages to make room for sending current messages.

Oh, Thank you so much.
Jim got a hold of me with a PM and told me how the System Works. As you can all probably tell, I never would have guessed that a message would stay in an Outbox until the addressee logged in, but I suppose that it is somehow easier for the programmers to do it that way. I am so used to Email and, well, you know, Email just gets SENT.
Anyway, I am SO embarrassed. I always feel as though I should be able to figure things out on my own. But, well, we all need to get used to the fact that sometimes we "need a little help from our friends".

Really!, the Officialdom around here should have read your first Post and then immediately put you on the Fast Track.
anyway, these PM's will eventually get you, but essentially they are very supportive.... so supportive, in fact, that they kind of imply that you don't need any help from me... are anybody on this Page... though a little Help from Friends sometimes make the Job easier.
you are really great.... I am really impressed!
Oh.... I find you are a Spiritual Person.... well let me add that I once had a dream.... some Goddess or Angle appeared to me... well it was several decades ago, and told me "the Only faculty worth cultivating is the Faculty of True Discernment"... and that was because I had 'discerned' something in the Dream that nobody else saw or understood. anyway, when 'I' say you are good, well, that MEANS that you are good. .... Even in the Spiritual Sense...
Oh, thanks for your Blessings. oh, let me remind you that I am an old man, and while otherwise healthy as the proverbial horse, I have these aches and pains in my thighs and hips, and it slows me down significantly.... I've seen other people my age and they aren't, well, 'crippled and lame'. Of course, I have been modifying my diet (to eliminate 'gouty' and 'arthritic' foods) and it has been helping incrementally (my paint went from 4 an 5 on the scale of 10 to just 2, but it still is enough to 'hobble' me.
Anyway, say a healing prayer to your heavenly friends and angels for me. I am a morally good man, and will never do any harm with my good health, should I ever have it again.
Oh.... this should really be in a PM... shouldn't it..... but its not OUR fault, is it?
