the good christian life

The secret of the good life, I believe, is to avoid capital sins such as anger, lust, gluttony, laziness, pride, greed and envy.
and what is sown is reaped... everything we do to God's creation affects us because it is life itself... life is one... we are all part of the same life... we are like leaves of the same tree and what happens to the tree happens to all the leaves... we are not separate... if we harm life in any of its forms... we harm ourselves...
sometimes we build a wall between life and us... we lock ourselves in our ego... and we are not capable of loving either God or our neighbor... and everything is reciprocal... if we are indifferent to our neighbor and to God the cosmos... they they will also be with us and so later we feel hurt... to receive love you must first give it
and it is not as easy as sitting down and saying I love the whole world and God... long live love... and remain with your arms crossed... no... loving God and your neighbor is a sacrificial service... that requires dedication... time.. effort.. dedication.. commitment.. cordiality
