Dear reader,

Can't seem to grasp the concepts of:
Behavioral inhibition vs cognitive inhibition

Are they the same?
Does anyone have any source material.

Kind regards

They are not the same.

Behavioral inhibition is to stop/inhibit an observable behavior, e.g. do not smoke a cigarette.
Cognitive inhibition is to stop/inhibit a thought, e.g. stop craving cigarettes.
