That is close to how Europeans ate circa 500-1000 AD, and an article in Science Daily claims, "Men From Early Middle Ages Were Nearly As Tall As Modern People".
The staple recipes at that time were pottages, which would have been similar to passing freshly picked plants-based favourites through a blender and a microwave. I doubt it tasted very good.
Men started shrinking from 1300 AD, which coincides with the mass consumption of processed imported food (dried/salted/pickled/cured/smoked/preserve). Many of today's mainstays such as cheese, potato, wheat, and rice had not yet been discovered.
