Hypnotised by TV

Have just been watching a program about television which stated this interesting piece of research...

Kids who watch television burn fewer calories than when sat staring at a blank wall.

The explanation the experimenters came up with was that they fidget less.

Now how many of you hypnotists out there recognise that state? As we all know, people in trance become extremely immobile.

On average, kids in America spend more hours watching TV than they do in school, and I would imagine it is not much different here in the UK. I wonder how the mental health of the nation's kids would improve if TV's were taken out of their bedrooms.

Is TV bad for you? No of course not, because although you are in a highly suggestible state, it only broadcasts socially edifying and psychologically healthy ideas, thank goodness.

Sarcastically yours

Roger ;)

P.S. Before anyone says it, yes I did see the program on TV. BUT I was not in trance.
