I'm thinking about starting a blog. Can you make money doing this and what's the point of it?

Yes you can surely make money out of blogging provided you work consistently and smartly with time. You may not believe it there are more than 10 million bloggers who make money from Google Adsense and why can't you if you have something to share that others would love to read.
