Post by admin: Researcher looking for male participants

Postby Kirstin Asher » Mon Jun 23, 2014 2:15 pm

Hi everyone, I am new to posting on the forum but have been a silent reader for some time.

I am a student at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, who is doing some research into people's attitudes towards themselves and their bodies and why it may be that people become dissatisfied with their bodies. I am specifically interested in males aged over 18.

The survey can be done in ten minutes and the results will help us to understand what factors can be used to predict body dissatisfaction, which in turn can be used to help people who suffer from this. Please only complete the survey if you are male and over the age of 18. If you have any questions about the research I'm doing please feel free to ask, a link to the questionnaire is below:

https://www.survey.lboro.ac.uk/mscproject

*On the question regarding magazine usage, if you do not read any magazines, please select other and write n/a.*
I have got permission to post this survey with the forum moderators and administration team so you can be assured that it is genuine research, thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully you can find the time to help me out with my research.

Many thanks,

Rob Graham

I completed your form , 150 questions has to be the most I've ever done voluntarily.

Anyway I commented about the flaws in your race question, very silly. Also the repetition of the questions... Was it necessary to ask the same thing 5-9 times worded differently? I found myself clicking anything towards the end just of spite for the repetition. Thought you should know.

Cheers
