Candid,

I'm sure you mean well, but everything you say seems to come in the form of assertions.

You present no arguments. You tell no stories to elucidate your arguments. You give no examples.

What you seem to be doing is answering me with a kind of "You are Wrong to Say that Assertiveness is anything else than All Goodness and Light, because all the Experts insist that Assertiveness is All Goodness and Light, and if something is in anyway way BAD, well it couldn't possible have anything to do with Assertiveness, which is All Goodness and Light". That IS your argument, isn't it?

Now go back and look at my Posts. I went way beyond the simple assertion that "Assertiveness is Bad". I explained it, I gave examples, told stories. but to you Assertiveness just seems to be some kind of Article of Religious Faith, and I am guilty of Heresy for questioning its Divinity!... or something like that.

Really, Candid, let's try to appreciate that this is an Intellectual Forum. Maybe instead of reading Anger Management Books for a while you can take a break and read a chapter or two about how to write an informative Essay -- for instance, it only took me 10 seconds to search this up : http://www.wikihow.com/Write-an-Informative-Essay.

I've just recently split up from my mrs lost her me both my daughters. All because I couldn't control the side to me that's a monster. We're talking now but only die to that I've got back in touch with my old meetings. The night I lost my temper was the night my eldest stood infront of me crying and breaking down in front of my it's killed the whole in side of me. Most days my head ain't mine.

Hi Garethpaul,

Welcome to the Forum. yes, I saw that you started your own thread and I replied to it. I do think that there is Hope for you, but everything takes a while, so you might start on trying to take it easy on yourself. don't waste too much energy on being remorseful, as the energy could be better utilized in Reading Up on Anger Management. I wish you luck!
