Hi Nebethut,
Welcome to the forum
Quite a list of symptoms in a very short post
I’m not an expert but I’d say that stress and anxiety could be a common cause, and you do mention being under a lot of pressure.
Anxiety can cause, among other things, lack of appetite, loss of libido, depersonalisation, and disturbed sleep. It’s also true that poor diet and lack of sleep make it harder to cope, causing increased anxiety, and it can become rather an endless loop.
I suppose the first thing to do is look that the things that are causing the stress, and see how you could reduce them. Also try to maintain a reasonably healthy diet, and try to limit things such as coffee because caffeine will increase anxiety.
Sleep paralysis is normal. It’s what prevents us from acting out our dreams! Normally a person wakes slowly, and by the time they’re consciously aware, their body is fully mobile. It’s only when startled suddenly from a dream that the mind is fully alert before the body is active.
Suppose this could indirectly be caused by anxiety. Anxiety tends to cause excessive dreaming, so there’s a greater chance of some of those dreams being disturbing enough to wake a person suddenly.
Have you read the
Anxiety and Panic Attacks Forum yet?
Take care
