People find me irritating

I feel as if I'm just a complete nuisance, so I'm thinking about COMPLETELY isolating myself, both from contact on the computer and in real life.

I decided to not do it because I got too bored...
heh...
But I wasn't planning do it because I wanted to be in absolute isolation, but because I feel as if I'm a major nuisance to others.

Ok...
Consider this...
At the beginning of this week, I had 40 people on my buddy list on AIM, and now its at 33 people...(I removed all the people who blocked me from my buddy list)

Each one of those 7 people I very much enjoyed talking to, but they apparently found me annoying... And that is why they blocked me.

I block people too. The reason is simple: when I'm online I don't won't everyone to start sending messages to me, one converstation at a time will do, 40 is too much.

7 out of 40 is not 'most', 21 out of 40 is 'most'.

This sort of situation is one that requires external evidence and not the use of the imagination.

If you want to believe most people find you annoying, that is fine, it is entirely up to you.

Myself, I would want to know specifically what it was that I was doing that was annoying them, then I could decide whether:

a) They were right and I would change my behaviour
b) They were wrong and I would carry on as I was

Thats just quite a bit of people to block you in one week... Don't you think?

Anyway... I just have this constant feeling that my very existence is of an nuisance to others... And I often find myself thinking that I am an nuisance, or that I will never amount to anything.

Yes I know, but have you checked with others? Have you asked if your behaviour irritates others, and if so, what precisely it is that is irritating? After all, mosquitos are not irritating, but them biting you is!
