How to make a start on your dream??...

First, it's important to ask why so many people struggle to take that all important "First Step" toward their dream....??

It all has to do with the size of the dream. The beauty is that when most people create a vision of their Dream life, they actually usually do THINK BIG... They dream of a life they truly desire, often being a complete 180 to the life the are currently living. Thinking big is a good thing, and a lot of people visualise their dream in the right way.

BUT, this "thinking big" is also the #1 reason why people never begin their journey to make this dream a reality. Why? Overwhelm and Fear are the biggest dream killers that will ever exist within the mind of an individual.

As Bob Proctor puts it, "Fear can kill an individual faster than a speeding bullet".... And I tend to agree.

A good indication of whether or not your dream is big enough should be measured by the degree to which the path to success is clear.

The more clear your path to success at the start, probably the smaller the dream is.... Conversely, the cloudier the journey to success, the bigger and more rewarding the dream, but also more fear and overwhelm that ensues. This is where 90% of people stop. When they can't see a clear road to success, they think it is unattainable.

In reality this couldn't be further from the truth. A big dream simply requires a different approach. It's almost like driving at night with only your headlights illuminating the way. You need to focus on what's in front of you, only what you can see in and tackle in your immediate view.

Whilst keeping your dream in the back of your mind, it's almost as if you have to take your "eyes off the prize" in the short term and just focus on what you can do day to day to progress and move forward.

For example, do you put up a new webpage today? Do you create some valuable content that your members will appreciate today leading into a new product launch?

Every big dream comes with hundreds of little steps to climb. Focus on each step as it comes, and not too far before.

That is how the successful are able to look down one day and realise how high they have climbed.

Have you ever had a big dream that seemed unreachable at first, but you chipped away and chipped away until success was within reach?

Bob Proctor is amazing. I want to dovetail on this thought by adding John C. Maxwell has a due diligence process called "Putting Your Dreams To The Test."

Although I haven't worked with Bob directly yet, I'm thankful someone else here recognizes he is a valuable asset in mindset development.

Thank you for sharing.

Some quotes from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

Tomorrow will be like today. Life wastes itself whilst we are preparing to live.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

and my favourite:

Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.
