Apologies are in order

Postby Itsmyfault » Thu May 05, 2005 10:23 pm

I just wanted to apologize to each and every one of you who read my nasty comments about the replies to my post. I know I have some serious underlying issues that cause me to behave the way I do. I "pop off" before I even think about what I'm doing. Then I dwell in self pity for a couple of days for doing what I did. I appreciate that no one gave me the response that I deserved. You were all so kind and supportive. I don't feel that I've ever had anyone who understood me, and you have made me feel support. Once again, I apologize, and just to let you know how it's going, I have an appointment to see my family doctor next week. Wish me luck, and words could never express the warmth I felt when I read your replies to my selfish, immature post. THANK YOU.

Hi Itsmyfault

Good to hear from you again. No need to apologise for your previous post. However, perhaps bear in mind that it is not always possible for someone to give an immediate response, particularly if people reading your post do not feel they have anything helpful to add.

Feeling conected to others and understood by people is one of the Basic Needs and perhaps it would help you to review these to identify any others that are not currently being met. You could then give some thought to what you could do to change things.

Well done for arranging an appointment to see your doctor to get some help for your problems. I wish you good luck of this. Let us know how you get on.

hi again itsmyfault!

Don't sweat it. This IS the anger management forum after all

Glad to hear you made an appointment and decided to get soem help with your problem. You shouldn't have to go through life punishing yourself for outbursts you had. It's just depressing.

Good luck with your apointment!
