When you say 145 kg did you mean pounds? Bc that translates to over 300 pounds, which is morbidly obese.

That said, do you know your BMI? Body mass index determines how healthy your weight is. Should be between 18.5-24.9.
Here's a calculator link if you'd like to see what yours is: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bminojs.htm

Of course, no matter what your weight, it's not a good symptom that you're not eating. My first instinct, in light of your other issues, is to suggest that you may have depression. You're concerned about the fact that you have no appetite, which isn't that congruent with the trademarks of an eating disorder.

You'll also want to rule out a physical ailment. A key sign that someone isn't physically well is loss of appetite, as well as lethargy. These things can lead to feeling depressed. That's even the case with animals. I know when my dog stops eating and sleeps all day that she's sick. One place you can start is to take your vitals: Take your temperature and resting heart rate. Sit down and do a complete body scan. Focus your attention on every part of your body, one part at a time, external and internal, and ask yourself if you have any pain or if that part feels unusual.

Of course, see your general pratitioner. Don't be afraid to investigate with professional help.

correction that is 45kg just went and did again... i am 170cm tall - and by my calculations very underweight - thanks for your advise will now starting dealing with depression issues and see if appetite returns - i hope so - i have lived this weight now for about 20years at most weight was 55kg and was very happy - sick of everyone commenting on me not eating or my weight - so maybe depression is the problem?

My goodness, that's is awfully, awfully thin.
You HAVE to see your doctor- any doctor. In fact, go to the emergency department of your local hospital. You're nearing the point of organ failure. This isn't just a matter for finding some answers online and dubbing around with trying things out. You are on the road to dying at this point. You need a feeding tube inserted in your stomach until the culprit of what's causing your illness is discovered.

To the ED NOW! Today! No excuses! Don't have insurance? Don't want to alarm your family? Have to work? Are embarrassed? SO WHAT. No excuse is good enough to not go.

You want answers from an online forum? That's the answer!

One thing all people with eating disorders should check is zinc levels. Google zinc and eating disorders to see the link. One way to test zinc levels for cheap is with "zinc tally".

Thanks paulo, the taste challenges for minerals is really interesting and cheap. I actually just ordered the other day a zinc challenge liquid, maybe not as quality as the zinc tally but I look forward to checking it out.

a recent study has shown and ill look for it, but for now, this response lacks citation that to sleep 8 solid hours is unnatural. before the use of artificial sources of light, or before "man made" light, the norm was to go to bed when it got dark, or when we were "tired enough." after about four hours of sleep, we would wake up. this was used as time to spend with family and have a small meal. everyone would go back to bed, and wake with the sun. this was roughly another four hours.
weve been conditioned since the beginning of the major use of man-made light to get more done during the day... to extend our day artificially... and compress all of our sleep into 8 solid hours.
the common belief is that if you wake up in the middle of 8 hours that you arent getting "uninterrupted sleep" and therefore have a "sleeping disorder." an industry has been created around this "disorder."

ive recently been testing the theory put forth in the study, and ive felt more refreshed in the morning.
i go to bed when the sun goes down, and i wake up in the middle of the night a little hungry. after eating, i am sleepy again, so i go back to bed. im not terribly certain that our brainwaves ever become alpha waves during this waking time. when i go to sleep, i return to the dream i was having at the point i seem to have left it.

so, in my opinion, theres absolutely nothing wrong with you as far as your reports of waking and returning to the same dream go.

I have the opposite problem. I can't keep my weight down.
Tried all sort of diets and some work and some don't.
I just don't feel happy when I don't eat what I want.

Both my girlfriend and I are of average weight and slender and eat healthy but whenever I eat something she wants to eat it too. And its with everything that I eat, whether a snack a whole meal or a midnight munchie. When we go out to eat we both order something different but it always ends up with her trying my food then wanting me to save her some when I'm done with it. But still I'm just wondering if something may be going on with her, like a visual eating disorder or whatnot. [/quote]
