Yes, I have undergone a considerable amount of therapy (is therapy measured in amount, lol?) which has been very helpful in understanding what it is like to be a client. From that I've also learned to appreciate the skill, expertise, experience and passion for the job that is required to be a good therapist. Besides, where I live, they don't qualify people as counsellors and psychotherapists, unless candidates have undergone a minimum of 20 sessions of personal therapy, which is an excellent requirement.
