I don't suffer from stage fright, or nervousness, or anything of the sort when I have to give a presentation. I rehearse what I'm going to say to the point where I'm absolutely sure it's air-tight; I'm thinking: if anyone can contest me because of something I left out, I failed, and I don't like to fail.
The above is, of course, assuming I'm talking about something I'm competent in. If someone asked me to hold a lecture on astrophysics or something, that'd be a different story.

This post is a good example of how one's experiences color their perspective on things, but I don't want to go on a tangent here. Suffice it to say that very few audiences are hostile by default.
I'd also love it if this forum had an ignore feature so I don't have to see this hypoglycemia stuff spammed literally everywhere.
