Boredom or comfort eating isn't uncommon, and it's good that you've recognised this is starting to become a problem before it develops into a big one. Well done
. Constantly throwing up can cause a lot of serious health problems that a person is often unaware of at first.
Are you aware of BMI (Body Mass Index)? It's a combination of a person's weight and height, giving a 'healthy' weight range to stay within. There are loads of online calculators for it. You're height and weight puts you right on the upper limit of the normal range, so just ok although it would do no harm to lose a few pounds if that makes you feel better.
So it seems like you already know what would help. To find other things to be doing during the day. Are you still at school or working, or is that the problem - too much time with nothing much to do. What about hobbies - either a new one or revisiting something you used to do when you were younger. Something that takes the focus off food. But do stick to eating regular healthy meals.
Does your friend want to beat this too? You could both support each other. Then when one of you is faced with a 'triggering' situation, it's a good distraction to be able to pick up the phone and talk to somebody who understands how it feels, until the urge to binge passes.
"...and what do u mean by element of guilt?"
I meant, do you find yourself feeling guilty about eating something after eating it, but I think you already answered that when you said;
"i know that i eat out of bordem sometimes. and i shouldnt do that..."
Just off out. Might be around later.
Take care,
Nigel
