Hi everyone
I wanted to post about controlling people and people who are very manipulative.
I'm working with a domestic abuse charity because of my ex husband-to-be and the situation I'm in at the moment.Im in a very frustrating and difficult position.
My ex was and continues to try and be very controlling person. I'm currently working my way through the freedom project.
I'm coping really well and I have a really good network of friends around me.
Do people who manipulate others eventually make mistakes so that everyone can see they're lying?
My ex traumatized my daughter last November and I've just got her through this and she's beginning to emerge from it.
So far he's manipulated his solicitors into believing him and courts and social services and I'm very worried what the next drama will be.
my main goal is my daughter and her being well and happy and moving forward but his main aim seems to be control and controlling my life through the courts and social services who seem to be working on his behalf.
I don't have any mental health diagnosis and I count my blessings that I'm very fit and healthy and very proactive in dealing with stuff.why then do these people who lie so much never seem to get caught out and people just readily believe them.?
He's even involved a friend who went to school with him. who is famous and works for CBeebies.my daughter's never met this man and he sent her a birthday card just on the fact of what my ex is telling him and of course my ex is promising for her to meet this person now. If this person knew the truth he might not be so readily forward to support his school friend but like so many of the people he's being brought into this drama, he has been told lies to support my ex's narrative so he can be a victim.
