Would you let her go even if she means the world to you?

My friends are calling me martyr, stupid, idiot, douchebag and more because I can’t let go of the girl who made me realize I am worthy of being loved too. She cheated on me many times but I just can’t let her go. I know she’s been loving me this whole time. I was just away, that’s why she cheated. Am I wrong for still keeping her? I always believe that if you love someone, you shouldn’t let that someone go. I can’t afford seeing her with somebody else. I loved, love and will be loving her for sure. Is that wrong?

If she made you realize that, and you took the lesson to heart, then she's done her job. However, it doesn't seem that the lesson stuck.

You don't own her. That's purely a thought/belief in your mind. In fact, the more that you "hold on" to someone, the quicker they want to get away from you. Each person who is (at least somewhat) well-adjusted emotionally wants to be free to make their own choices, not be owned by someone in order to be suffocated by them. People who are owned do not grow in their own right. Life is growth. Stagnation is death.

Yes and no. Love yourself. Love that you have so much love for someone that you don't know what to do with yourself, then turn that love onto yourself. You can only count on yourself. The world around you is going to do what it does. Love it in all of its forms.

That is called being human, and having feelings.

Its obvious you love her but honestly if shes been cheating, its not worth still being with her. Yes, it was because you were away for a long time, but how do you know she wont do it again when you go away again.
Coming from a girls perspective, if we cheat when a guys away, that's because we don't like being alone, we need attention all the time and if we don't we will go out to get someone else to give us that attention. Even though you know she loves you, shes already got that mentality to cheat when you are away.
Its painful to breakup with someone you love but it is worth your heart to be broken once again when you leave her.

You are better off breaking up and working on yourself. and in time will find someone who truly loves you MORE than this one.

When you love someone, the love will always be there, No matter what happens, because emotions cling on to the memories of when they were made. letting will not mean you dont love her. and it will be hard for you to see her with someone else, but it will be worth it on the long run because when you find true love and happiness, you will look back at this moment and be like WOW.

I hope i help! :)
