There are certain people that definitely deserve to die a very painful death for their crimes.

I live in a state where they still use the death penalty by the way.
yes i agree.an eye for an eye as it says in the bible...

And as it says in the bible -
'Turn the other cheek'

An eye for an eye gives you the excuse to become the monsters that some of these people are. Yes, imprison them! But sentencing them to death? - we just don't have that right, and if we did, well then, we're just as bad as them.

People do not deserve to die, however, death is an incredibly important part of life. We have become too medically proficient for our own good, in order to keep the planet habitable for future generations, we must control our population by any means necessary. Because of this, I believe that death should be administered to -all- criminals, for the express purpose of keeping our population pure, and manageable.

Does anybody deserve to die? My question would be does anybody desrve to live!! That may sound weird, but if you think about it, what has anybody done to deserve life? It was given to us somehow for free.

Here's another question, on who's moral standard are we basing whether people should die or live? Is it some compromise that we humans came up with? If so, what right have we to judge someone by a set of morals that are merely a collection of human ideas? What if the person commiting the crime disagrees with our set of morals and believes what he is doing is right?

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that what Glitter and Uber went through was not terrible. I honestly cannot imagine what I would feel if I went through they went through. I'm just saying that we have to be very careful taking away a gift that we didn't give, namely life. If we are some cosmic accident as Darwin suggests, we don't have to worry. On the other hand if someone or something outside of "nature" created us, and gave each of us life, shouldn't we be very careful about who we execute and why?

There is NO good OR evil. Society labels what's good and bad.

“There’s no good or evil”, that’s a popular opinion, but do you really believe it? Many people say that without really thinking about what it means. Did you read uber or glitter’s story? What about if someone came and stole your car, or I punched you in the face without any provocation. Many people will say there is no absolute truth until something absolutely wrong is done to them.

My question to you is, are you absolutely sure there is no absolute good or evil, right or wrong, truth or falsehood?
