I am 29 yr old and started exp ED since 6 months. I went to 4 diff urologists, have seen pyschiatrists and all of them after full blown diaognosis have told that it is psychogenic...but my head is not accepting it..its cos i m unable to jerk off since I m single.These tests were clear and i recieved the reports :
1) Blood
2) Blood Sugar
3) Uric Acid
4) Lipid Profile
5) Hormone Levels
6) Penile Doppler
7) Liver and Kidney Function Tests
ECG9) Blood Pressure
All are normal..the thing is that I went into depression after this and all the pyschiatrist suggest SSRI's which all have a side effect of sexual dysfunction.....with heightened anxiety and depression which goes untreated , 1 in 3 men are likely to exp ED...i ve entered a vicous cycle...today i went to another urologist and he suggested to do a test to check erections while i m asleep....also I d been smoking but since i was 18 but doesnt the penile doppler rules out effects of smokin since this test measures blood flow in and out of penis and if there is any problem it should have been diagnozed...the vicous cycle is destryoing my life...ED is causing Depression ...cant use SSRI's and depression must be causing ED....wat to do??? Mind not acceptin to use meds....please help.
