Hypnosis and God

Postby brucestanley5005 » Wed Mar 08, 2017 4:53 am

During 2012 and 2013 I fell head over heals for a woman. Sometimes I think it was the Universe the one that brought this situation to my life and sometimes I think it was that same woman that was secretly hypnotizing me. For various reasons, including that she was married, I decided to keep the feelings to my self and use them as a medicine to cure my scars. In June 2013, these feelings of falling in love put me on a high trip and eventually by law of attraction the music of Coldplay came to my life. While I was listening to Coldplay and while I was madly in love with this woman were thoughts of a place like the one is presented on the new music video of Coldplay, Hypnotized. After watching this music video for the first time I decided to look for information about Love and Hypnosis and found articles related to Sigmund Freud.

If Hypnosis can produce feelings like the ones I had then what Love has to do with God?

This is a bit tricky, because religious discussions are not allowed on the forum. There is a fine line between religion and spirituality. I think the main reason is the moderators don't want to see religious/political arguments.

Anyway, your question seems to be along spiritual lines. If there is a spiritual entity, what does this entity have to do with love if hypnosis can produce feelings of love? The answer is very, very, very simple. It depends on what you believe about this spiritual entity. If you believe this entity created everything in the universe, then this entity also created hypnosis, created flowers, beer, cars, Coldplay, smiles, ice cream, babies, greed, jealousy, the Internet, etc. etc.

Hypnosis then is just a creation of the spirit in which you believe, i.e. God created hypnosis. But, this depends on your spiritual beliefs and whether or not the spiritual entity is all powerful or not.

Very good that religious discussions are avoided here.

I myself distinguish indeed spirituality and the system or morals of a religion.

The problem with religion is that you can easily fall into moral/ethical discussions and I'm not surprised that that is undesired.

Regarding to the question in the opening post:
with hypnosis you actually direct someone's emotions and feelings, so also feelings of love. The unconsious doesnt mind which emotions, as long as it is an emotion.

Everyone has these feelings, you only have to focus at it.

Thoughts and feelings are two sides of the same coin. Thoughts believed in or taken seriously will produce for you an emotion or state of mind appropriate to those thoughts.

A state of mind called love comes from loving thoughts.

Hypnosis suggests or guides your thinking along certain lines of thought to effect certain states of mind.

I wanted to say that much. However, I am uncertain as to how to answer your question.
