Where can a Diabetic find a way to Reverse Diabetes?

Postby jamesGMarsh » Mon Jan 06, 2014 9:47 am

We're talking about people who aren't willing to just let things slide out of control but who are willing to make some changes to their diet and lifestyle. Don't think you can make a difference? Well, you can make a difference. Our blog is dedicated towards helping you and pointing you in the right direction to make a difference.

Many foods have had the life supporting nutrients removed so that the high calorie/low nutrient food can sit on a grocery store shelf for months without spoiling. Not to mention all of the synthetic food preservatives and/or hydrogenated oils added to further extend the shelf life of various products. In many cases, our grandparents did not have to cope with the many things that we do.

Needless to say, you will need to exercise some self-discipline to help turn your life around. You will need to forget soda pop, sugar-rich cakes, pies and pastry. Candy bars and all of that. We hasten to add, that we all have a "sweet tooth" at times and there are alternatives like Stevia which is very sweet and does not affect your glycemic index. In other words, it is safe to eat and is a natural plant derived substance.

Diabetes type II is considered a lifestyle disease. Some people are more prone to acquiring the disease than others. If it runs in the family, you're definitely at a higher risk. Working with a dietitian can be beneficial when it comes to controlling sugar levels. But can't stress enough the importance of whole grains, vegetables and small amounts of fruit to get you on a successful path of managing Diabetes. Remember, UN processed foods and exercise is beneficial for everyone. Work with your doctor as well if you have one but remember... your body, your health.

Diabetes is something that you should not start. This means that you will have to fight against as early as possible. Develop diets and workouts that will help you win over this life-threatening disease. Do not wait for artificial insulin and all those medicines to take over before you work on it.
