Did I restart PAWS?

Hello everyone,

I've been a lurker here for over a year while I deal with weed-related PAWS, gradually improving. Shortly after my symptoms started I was prescribed 10 mgs of Lexapro. I started to ween off of it a few months ago and I finally completed it last week. What compelled me to create an account on here is something that wasn't really covered in the forums. A few days after tapering off, I started to feel symptoms similar to when my PAWS first started. My question is: did I restart PAWS? Or is this another wave? Perhaps the lexapro was just masking my symptoms? Any help regarding this would be deeply appreciated

The lexapro seems like a pretty specific factor. I’d ask my doctor what was going on.

Of course maybe someone in here has been weaned off lexapro before. Who knows.

You are likely having withdrawal from the antidepressants and that can be similar to weed paws in my own experience.
The antidepressants may have masked the paws from weed but you will level out in time.
Try not to worry about it and remember it will take a little time to level out from the antidepressants
