Dear Cry and Stab In the Back,

Well, that was kind of harsh.

You never really engaged anybody. I wrote several times, and you ignored me. How, then am I, or anyone else here, supposed to help you if you will not engage and respond.

Maybe you are just torturing us like you are torturing your Cat. wow! Was it fun? Oh, I hope you had a tissue ready so you would not make a big mess of it...

Perfectionism can lead to many outlets. Unfortunately in this case, the cat is the outlet that releases the perfectionism from taking complete control. It's like an anchor that allows you to continue the dysfunctional thinking. It is your flaw that you think your controlling. Do a little evil to feel ....because you cannot connect to the reality, that you are flawed without control.
Awe...the mind of the perfectionist..
If you got rid of the cat, you will just replace the cycle with something else you think you have complete power over.
Many psychotic minds start with animals...pure innocence is so alluring to those who live in a world they feel has no empathy towards them. They take the innocent as victims of their own inadequacy.

krystab, you are enjoying hurting your cat and you're wondering what it means to you. In my opinion, the wondering needs to happen after you have found your cat a safe home - because it is not safe with you. The wondering at present is a delay tactic to prolong the sadism, part which is to involve other people in the wondering process. The answer to the wondering does not matter a jot while you are hurting the cat. Please sort out the safety issue then we can look at "what did it mean to you".

Some people enjoy this kind of hurting animals physically. They didn't know why they behave like this and afterwards they feel bad about their action.

Yes, It is Good when they feel band enough to Stop. But the Hero of Our Post argues that his Cat LIKES IT, or at least does not mind the Pain because of Its Great Love and Respect for its Abuser.

that Guy... who told us that he was Moving On... that we were all effectively too stupid and narrow to help... has real problems! when I was a mere lad, I used to throw rocks at birds and rabbits and squirrels. Finally I was about 12 and actually hit a Rabbit. Oh My God! My Heart Almost Stopped! The Poor Thing! It hopped away, but even now I am worried that I might have caused it some permanent injury. SO, I stopped throwing rocks at animals. I did not make up a story about how the Animals Like being hit by rocks. I reminds me of one of Historical Hereos... Sir Richard Francis Burton -- the First European Non-Muslim to sneak into Mecca and describe the intricate going on of a people so given to violence, murder, coercion and duress to advance their 'Religion' ... and he lead an Expedition into Deepest Africa to discover the Source of the River Nile.. Anyway, when he was still a Young Officer in India he went out hunting with High Powered Rifle, and shot a Monkey. He was Horrified at what he had done, and never hunted again. and he was perhaps the Most Macho Guy of the 19th Century.... smart too! He translated "1001 Arabian Nights"... he passed the British Civil Service Exams for fluency in 39 Languages... it was probably every language they had a Test For. Apparently he only had to hear it or read it Once, and he would Know It.

There are people who feel extreme sorry for others
There are people more reasonable
There are people who dont feel sorry for others

That comes naturaly
But that is not all about it, is also the believes we create of animals people in america love pets as their children but people somewhere else dont care about pets , is just how they grow up to believe about the animal

Responsibilities
You need to take responsibilities for what you do,
You must not, abuse a human or animal
Take responsibilities for your actions because you can

I am an avid cat lover. I have five cats... used to be more... I maintained "Feral Cat Feeding Stations" and I was co-sponsored by Animal Clinics and Hospitals.

but some of my earliest memory of Cats is when our Family Pet, Kitcat, would run out to the School bus to great us coming home... she would rear up and attempt to embrace us, but I was always afraid of her claws and would reject and avoid her. Now I realize that cat claws from a friendly cat may be a bit prickly but offer no real harm. Now I wish i had embraced her back. what a fine and loving Cat she must have been...

why are you people concerned more about the animal than a human being? this person is reaching out for insight on their own behavior and you're all focused on the GD cat. it's a cat. this is a human being. I also don't see where this person mentioned the cat enjoys this, but instead is saying the cat is not afraid of them and still shows affection.

And CATS are not Living ,Conscious, Aware and Thinking Souls JUST LIKE HUMAN BEINGS!?

Yes, Cats may not be Human, but I cannot be sure that that your are not any Morally, or even Qualitatively BETTER than many Cats I have known.

And yet you declare staunchly against an entire specie... clinging to the post Tribal of Tenets.... 'Any of Us are worth more than ALL of Them'.

Really, You would make such a hateful and selfish Cat. But I have know dozens of Cats that I think I would prefer to you.

Well it looks like Krystab has left the building!... In my experience hateful acts towards other creatures is often a sign of self-hatred turned outward. This person lashes out even at the people who are trying to help.

Alright so -
I realize that this thread is nearly a year old, but I felt compelled to contribute a bit of something on the off chance that the user might check in. First and foremost, it appears as though most of the replies on this board are centered around personal, emotional reactions to the statement. More of a "I am feeling angry because you are feeling this way", as opposed to actually attempting to provide useful replies. Making a statement which regards to a desire to inflict pain is controversial and the difficulty in posting something of this nature must be acknowledged. Rather than pursuing the topic with angry comments discussing how personally offended you are, it would be better to actually strive towards providing something of use.
Now -
krystab,
There are a few things you must consider in your situation, given that the circumstances are still the same. You stated that you have urges, but lack remorse in the act. The desire to inflict pain on others, animals in specific, is often (not always, mind you) correlated with past trauma. "And the littlest one kicked the cat". It is not at all uncommon for those who feel unable to address their situation, children especially, to take out bent up pain and anger on someone, or something, smaller than themselves.
Self-diagnosing being a danger in itself, I would first and foremost recommend consulting with a specialist - not simply a handful of users with "back-alley knowledge". There could be serious psychological issues involved and if you are thinking of delving deeper into them, you are highly recommended to do so under professional care. As for what can be done in the meantime, distancing yourself from the animal may be best. It may well be that the feelings of enjoyment, or desire to inflict, will ebb with time - but it is best not to count entirely on this.
To sum things up -
The fact that you have posted on this forum leads one to believe that there is, at least to some degree, a desire to resolve the conflict at hand. However, seeing as there may be delicate matters and complexities entwined within, it is highly recommended that you engage a professional.
Best wishes be with you.

Dear Protanther,

Yeah... looking it over, It kind of looks like you are right about us.

We all seemed to care much more about the Cats (now and Future) then for the Man.

but, at the time, we were looking at somebody who wasn't explicitly asking for Help. He told us down in the Posts that he wanted some Psychological Insight. Yes, that meant that he was ACTUALLY (probably) asking for Help. Or, then again, he could have been a Psychopathic Narcissist gloating in public about his overt Evil.

But, yes, none of us gave the guy the benefit of the doubt.

But if I were to pick anybody for accidentally stepping in front of a Bus....
