tasha,
I took the Forum and was very involved for several years. I would NOT encourage anybody to go through it, especially anyone who is even slightly depressed.
They emphasize personal responsibility, "owning" what is going on your life, and other philosophical ideas that sound wonderful.
The problem is that there has been a lack of integrity in the organization. At the heart of the organization is the drive for continued "enrollment" -- for participants to introduce others to the program and continue in seminars for themselves.
I've heard from people who did the Forum or its pre-cursor "est", to the 80's, and even in the 90's: they say changes will be made but it goes along pretty much the same way it always has.
Most of the assistants (volunteers) and participants are wonderful people!
The Forum is basically "est" from the 70's. It has changed names and ownership, but the problems I have with their methods have not changed as far as I can tell from visiting with a friend last year.
Do a google search on "responsibility landmark forum" without quotes and see what you come up with. Or even just landmark forum and skip past their homepages.
If you do decide to do it, I hope you get great things out of the weekend. It can be very exciting and new.
