I get frustrated and irritated easily

Postby johnmason » Fri Sep 27, 2019 6:10 am

So i decided from now on i will try to help my family member in work. So today i was unable to wake up early as father was asking me for help in work..so he went alone. I felt frustrated, guilty and kept thinking why i am so lazy.. I wont be able to do anything..my future is doomed..i kept thinking about it...are my standards too high..

Based on your other threads...NO!!!!!

For you to believe you have high standards is a delusion. It is a form of self-handicapping.

Have you ever seen a person that refused to participate in an activity because they think they are "too good" or "too talented"? They believe the work, the task, the goal is beneath them. They have, in their own mind, elevated themselves to a much higher status they believe they deserve. This allows them to then justify in their own mind doing nothing. They justify they can sleep, they can stay in bed, because the work is not worthy if the high standards they have.

You are 27 years old. It is time for you to mentally mature.

Yes your standards might be too high for yourself. That doesnt mean dont try fo work for your family member, maybe pusb it a bit, but if its too hectic or you dont like it then maybe take a breather and try again, if you still dont like it then maybe you need to take a good step back and rethink about wbat you're doing
