Sound Systems

Postby Tazzie » Tue Apr 30, 2019 9:59 am

Hi folks,
This question is directed to experienced therapists - just wondering how many use sound systems (mixer, headphones, mic etc) in their sessions? Im aware of the pro's (reduced noise, sense of routine/event) but are some cons (beyond cost) please? Any advice for somone in training please?
Thanks,
Tazzie

It has been my experience that the best interventions are built more around using what the client brings to the process and less around what I may have decided I am going to do beforehand.

However, when a therapist is skilled and experienced enough to make good decisions as to what, when, and how to use such systems, I think they can be powerful tools.
