And if you're depressed you may be sleeping something like 12 hours a night .
I'd just like to say a few things here in no particular order.
One, the schools I've been to (primary and secondary, that is) didn't seem to give a sh** about me or other students, what I mean is, teachers wouldn't have even taken notice if you didn't socialise, they wouldn't have even tried to work out whether you just like to be alone or something is wrong. Lordy, a sort of friend of mine was constantly getting beaten up by this other kid and getting hassled all the time (despite this friend being much stronger than this other kid), he kept telling a teacher, and the teacher (who was in charge of the whole year group, btw) told him that if he got into any more trouble he'd be expelled... ... ...and when he told other teachers, they told him to go to the teacher that basically told him to 'naff off'. The mind boggles, the mind boggles... you can tell I'm bitter because of my own more personal experiences ...the school was stuffed choc-a-block with racists and the teachers in the school did nowt about this because they were scared...
Also, back to psychology, I'd just like to add, when I were having a hard time at school and wanted to die all the time, despite it being 'only for half the day, it meant for the rest of the day I were constantly dreading the next day and so I had absolutely no chance to get my 'basic human needs' fulfilled due to that time being taken up with distress and suicidal tendencies.
Though this reminds me, I must finally get round to reading the depression learning path and stuff .
