my hair has recently started thinning because of bulimia. If my eating returns to normal will my hair go back to the way it was?

Assuming you're young, yes it will. Hair naturally thins later in life but I don't think you have to worry about that for a while.

I recommend you get yourself to a nutritional Dr and get mineral levels assessed.
