Hypnosis doesn't work for me?

They reckon they can cure this, cure that. Rubbish. If you don't suffer from depression then you have no right to tell anyone you can "Cure that in 3 sessions" if you don't suffer from it you have no idea what it's like.
I've got better things to do than waste my time with this trash.

I agree with fordpuma to some extent. Most of the hypnotherapists I've known have been new-agey types who played with crystals and had no understanding of real science. They became hypnotherapists simply because many places don't regulate the practice at all -- there's no quality control in the profession, like there is in conventional forms of therapy.

That being said, I have also met a few hypnotherapists who know what they're doing and legitimately can cure a serious addiction in three sessions or less.

Unfortunately, the legitimate hypnotherapists are in a minority, which means that some people will judge all hypnotherapy on their experience with a few unskilled frauds.

For a long time I also did nor believe in hypnosis, because nobody had ever been able to hypnotize me. Now that I've become a hypnotist in my own right, that is no longer the case.

For anyone new to hypnosis and skeptical, I recommend you never see a hypnotist who doesn't have a guarantee that they will solve your problem in three sessions or less. Anyone with real skill should have the confidence to make such a guarantee.

No. Hypnosis works for all people. If you don't feel it that means the specialist uses unsuitable method personally for you. Just try to find a real hypnotist who knows different methods
