I babysit my little sister

Postby Scottish Leanne » Wed Feb 28, 2018 10:04 pm

Hi, I am new to this forum, I am a 16yr old girl who has a 6yr old little sister and a single mum who suffers from depression.

My mum gets counselling for her depression and, when possible I do most of the parent tasks that she would normally do because my little sister has Aspergers and always falls out with me over boundaries I set for her.

I walk her to school and because she is only 6 and has no sense whilst walking I hold her hand at all times so that at roads she looks left and right twice at my command.

One other issue I have with her is getting her to wear her to zip up her jacket, one boundary I have for her is that when her jacket is needed then it needs zipped up in order to stay warm because she is always shivering and complaining of being cold.

So, I'm needing tips on how to get her to zip it herself or without me prompting her to do it up?

What enabled you to get her to look both ways at the road? How did you get that to happen?

Is she retarded? If shes cold she will zip up? Seems like she is frustrated by the zipper. get buttons? It is most likely it makes her feel all warm and fuzzy when you do it for her just like a mommy, its so adorable :)

kids are assholes really. lol they funny AF tho. dont be discouraged, the two of you are a team. wishes
