Constant worry on my heartbeat

Postby eileen11 » Mon Aug 22, 2011 2:57 am

Hi guys .. my name is Nizam Shebli and Im from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is my 6th year of suffering god knows what it is. I've been told its anxiety / panic attack. First of all, I cant differentiate between anxiety and panic attacks. Are they the same thing? It all started in 2005, when I was driving and it was raining. I was stuck in a jam, then suddenly a really terrible lightning strikes few hundred meters away from me. Then I was shocked, could feel adrenaline flushed throughout my body, my heart beats really2 fast, and i was in a total shocked. I went to the e.r than doctor cant find anything wrong with me except for the rapid heartbeat. Ever since that day, I have encountered the episodes from time to time. There are no pattern, just came without any particular reason.

And after the episode, I started to have this skipped beat sensation. When it occurs, I will start to worry about my heart and constantly monitor my heartbeat. It bothers me a lot and I am just tired of all these feelings. Have anyone experienced this? dont you use this server or this app its way easier " we use standard IRC for several reasons. 1 its what we the channel creators are used to making it easier for us to set up and maintain, 2 its text only chat so its the least amount of strain on your bandwidth *see we do think about you guys 3 reasons one and two are so good we dont need a third reason....

I'd say not, but there are many differing views what "anxiety" is. For example some can say they are worried about an exam but dont get any physical symptoms, and once the exam is over they are back to normal. A panic attack is adrenaline rushing through your body causing a full on attack (some say this is because it is trying to raise blood sugar which has gone to low due to insulin resistance, mineral deficiencies or low thyroid). Then there is the general day to day minute after minute jitters nervousness where we feel on the verge of exploding into an attack. Its not to dissimilar to asthma, astham sufferers can feel weezy a lot of the time, then at times will have a full on asthma attack.
