Hi Fran1888

I'm sorry you're having such a bad time at the moment. Panic attacks are really horrible and difficult to cope with. I suffer from panic attacks due to social phobia and it can make you feel very isolated and alone. I also have depression.

I'm sorry I can't really say anything to help. I've just started seeing a hypnotherapist for help with my problems but am still struggling a lot at the moment.

Everyone here is very friendly and helpful and I'm sure someone will reply with more help than I can give. I just wanted to say you're not alone and people do want to talk to you.

Take care,
Briary

My advice to you is to read up on anything you can find on panic attacks. I used to get them so bad. I would have the "unreal" vision, tremors, the feeling that I was going to pass out. O'man it was terrible. Then I started to read up on them and I realized that they were panic attacks and there wasn't anything wrong with me. So then they put me on Paxil (30mg) which made me feel like myself again. Then after being on that for 4 months I ended up getting pregnant and got off the Paxil (with no problems). But after having my daughter, I developed an axiety that is caused from Post Pardum, so now I am back on a genaric brand of Paxil it's called Pexeva (20mg) and I feel like myself again. I ended up going to see a Phycalogist, and he is a wonderful doctor. Just help yourself and care about yourself, no matter what other people think. If you need anymore advice on panic attacks please email me at [email protected]

Hi fran1888

There is plenty of help in Scotland for panic attacks - what sort of help are you looking for?
