negative imagination during hypnosis

Postby jichoi » Mon Jan 20, 2014 1:37 am

Sometimes when I am angry I imagine negative pictures of past. Is it alright to do hypnosis at these times or should I wait it off before I start. This is because, firstly I know hypnosis has a lot to do with imagery, and secondly I don't pay attention to any words they I saying because I am busy thinking about negative things.

Hope to hear back =)

If you get negative images of the past coming up, can you drain the colour out of them, then shrink them and fade them down to the left as you bring in a new image of the kind of future that you would like growing small to big from the right in full colour.

Are you undergoing hypnotherapy sessions with a therapist present? Then one good solution could be to explain the problem to them. They may change the script of the hypnotic suggestions such that when the session begins, your mind will automatically be focused and not digress.
