-Explain the sentence "Psychology is an old science with short history"

The idea of an exam question is that you read around the subject and decide for yourself! Good luck though

i know if i could read the book. but i study chemistry and i dont/cant read every detail of the book and the way prof. asks every word so im asking, As some psychologist would ask me some chemical question i would answer.

"Psychology is an old science with short history"

- It basically means that issues/topics that psychology deals with were discussed by philosophers (Aristotle, Plato, for instance) or other sciences long before psychology became a true scientific discipline (this happened in 1879 when W. Wundt founded the first laboratory for psychological research).
