Please help me help her

Hello everyone.

I think that my friend's daughter might be bulimic.
when i visit at their house, every time when we eat something she disappears to the bathroom, a few times i heard the water was running.
plus she lost quite a lot of weight lately.

I tried mentioning it to my friend but she wouldn't listen to me, because it is hard to accept this kind of fact about your daughter, you will always try to think that she is healthy and ok.

Do you have any advice? some way i can show her that her daughter needs some attention, and maybe medical care?

Thank you so much

The only thing I can advise you is to read:

Eating Disorders: Anorexia and Bulimia

Which explains some of the nutritional aspects of eating disorders.

Please discuss with a doctor.

Sure, the thing is that i can't take her to a doctor and her mother just refuses to see what is going on
