Hi liam

You may want to take a look at this hypnosis article, it will tell you about what hypnosis is. When your doctor talks about 'taking you outside your body', he is only talking about using your imagination.

HI ROGER WENT FOR MY HYPNO WITH MY GP

WHEN TURNED UP AT THE DOCTORS IT WAS , SO I RANG THE BELL AND TOLD THE RECEPTIONIST THAT I HAD AN APPOINTMENT, SHE LET ME IN AND LOCKED THE DOOR . STRAIGHT AWAY I HAD A PANIC ATTACK BECAUSE I COULD NOT GET OUT. I DID SEE THE DOCTOR AND SHE MADE ME THINK OF GOOD TIMES IN MY LIFE [ WHICH ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN ]

ON THINKING OF NICE TIMES I BROKE DOWN IN TEARS AND IN A TERIBLE STATE THIS CANT BE RITE FOR A 42 YEAR OLD MAN TO START CRYING
ALL THE BEST LIAM

Hi Liam

People often get a little tearful when they remember the good times, but the great thing about hypnosis is that it can allow us to do that even when depression or anxiety is keeping us focused on the bad.

It is easy to see anything in a negative light (i.e. grown men shouldn't cry) but it's also possible, with a bit of effort, to go a little further and think of the more positive aspects (i.e. it's nice to be able to remember the good times again, it's good to be honest enough to cry when upset, it shows you are a caring person).

Liam,

Given what you said before you went, I think it's a real achievement that you went through with it, I sense that this will be a turning point for you, and the start of many more good times.

I think sometimes the tears that come at times like this can be tears of relief.

Hi liam!

I'm due to get hypnosis next month. I can't wait! My therapist said it could be my cure but she is pretty sure it will help. She read up on it when I told her I was going to get it.

Can you tell me in a bit more detail what happened and what they did? I'm quite nervous about it too...

Keep us posted! I'd love to hear what's going on!
