Dear Ceri,
Saying that you engage yourself in destructive behavior ONLY because you thick it is "fun" or whatever really does not explain anything. It just seem like a light breezy way to sweep your suspect and troublesome behavior under the Rug of Denial.
But, thanks for reading closely. they do say that Psychological Denial is a very Real Thing. It really is difficult for people who are in Denial to see what is clear and obvious to almost any objective by-stander. So when you say you just don't seem to get what I am telling you, well, I believe it.
Hmmmmmm, well, That brings my Thinking on to another problem. In the Old Days if you acted crazy then they would just pick you up and Institutionalize you, for the Public Safety and your own Safety. Now they leave it up to the people to recognize that they themselves have a problem, and then they wait for those people to show proof of Insurance coverage before anybody would even think of even the barest outpatient treatment, let along Institutionalization. So Between the Forces of Self Denial in the Crazy People and Governmental Apathy and Resignation in the Responsibility to Protect Society from Crazy People, there are probably Zillions of Crazy People out there who can't be trusted not to do Anything that crosses their Distorted and Dysfunctional Minds. But if they ever should Commit Mass Atrocities, I certainly hope it is because they "enjoy it", and not for some Sick and Disgusting reason.
