Research Study: How effective is online counselling?

In light of the recent pandemic a lot of mental health service providers have switched their practices from traditional face-to-face therapy to online. The convenience of online counselling made mental health services accessible for many people and has shown promising results so far. However, since it's a relatively new field It's crucial that we consistently evaluate its effectiveness and identify areas where improvements can be made.

If you are currently receiving (or previously received )any type of online counselling (e.g. email, chat, videoconferencing) I would like to invite you to take part in this anonymous study that aims to investigate the effectiveness of online counselling from different aspects.

I think it depends on the person. I think online counselling isnt as effective as face to face as emotion is missing and voice tone. These things are important to note when counselling people.
